Meet Our Trainers

Amanda Wilkinson has been with Our Pal’s Place for 11 years and specializes in working with rescued pets. Amanda is part of O.P.P.’s Intake Team so she understands the stress dogs endure while in shelter and foster environments and can help with acclimating them into your home. Amanda also serves as O.P.P.’s K9 Coach Lead where she teaches O.P.P. volunteers how to train our dogs based on their individual needs.

Sandy Adcock has over 20 years of training experience and has served as Director of Training for Our Pal’s Place rescue operations for over 10 years. Sandy utilizes a force free method of training to ensure the rescued dogs at Our Pal's Place have fun while learning. Sandy is trained in clicker, non-competitive agility, rally obedience, Tellington Touch and Healing Touch.  She has completed Pat Miller’s Internship and is a member of the Pet Professional Guild. Sandy now provides consultation to harder training and behavioral cases across all of our training operations.
